bobbymac824 Unbelievable compilation of the most beautiful songs from this great songwriter! Gretchen sings from her heart! Favorite track: Three Bells For Stephen.

mjlaverty54 This just may be the most Beautifully recorded Album of all time. Gretchen Peters captures Mickeys songs like they were her own. Lush arrangements but not overly done. All the Musicians are on top of their game. Her vocals, well what can you say about the voice! I must admit that I had forgotten about Mickey. Thanks to Gretchen his songs live on.

wildelmocat I was introduced to Mickey Newbury by The Midnight Special on WFMT Chicago when the double album Live at Montezuma Hall/Looks Like Rain came out. Gretchen Peters has captured the essence of Mickey Newbury even though some of my favorite Newbury songs were, of necessity, not included in this collection. Favorite track: She Even Woke Me Up To Say Goodbye.
